What is MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPY?
Myofunctional therapy has been around for decades, used primarily by speech pathologists. Not long ago, the dental and medical community realized how valuable it can be in helping our patients improve and resolve issues that negatively impact their life such as TMJ pain, snoring, Sleep Apnea and more. By targeting specific facial and tongue muscles through individualized and specific treatments we can correct and restore function- improving the way we breathe, speak, sleep and live.
